Ethelyn P. Willicombe, 86, East Ridge, died Wednesday, July 30, 2014 in a local healthcare center. A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, she was former Vice President and Secretary for East Ridge Florist for many years. Mrs. Willicombe was a member of First Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George F. Willicombe and daughter, Joy Kimbro. Survivors are her children, Rev. Steven Willicombe, Hartland, Wisconsin, Janis Hartwig, Concordia, Missouri, Luanne Neill, Des Moines, Iowa and Lori Rogers, Chattanooga; sisters, Betty Baldi, Downers Grove, Illinois and Lois Filipiak, Chicago, Illinois; 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Saturday, August 2 at 10 AM at First Lutheran Church with Rev. Mark McCroy officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
