Johnnie V. Templeton DeFriese, of Chattanooga, passed away at her home Thursday,
April 17, 2014 after a long illness. She is survived by her husband, Donald G. DeFriese; sons, Jimmy Harris, of Chattanooga,
Charles Harris of Prescott, AZ; daughters, Judy Manning of Cave Springs, GA, Kaye Vandergriff of Chattanooga; nieces, Ruth Appleget, of Chattanooga, and Peggie Harris, of
Ringgold; several other nieces and nephews and several grand-nieces and nephews; and several grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 PM Monday, April 21, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with
Rev. Art Jones officiating. Private burial will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery. Flowers are welcome however memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and or Palliative Care of Chattanooga.
