Virginia Ransom Lillie, 94, Rossville, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 at a local hospital. Virginia was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and of the Baptist faith. She was retired from Cutter Laboratory. Mrs. Lillie is preceded in death by brothers, LeBron Ransom and W.O. Ransom, Jr, and sister, Fay Peacock. Survivors are son, Robert (Marie) Drake, Fort Oglethorpe, sisters, Madge Ransom, Rock Spring and Mary Louise Lundy, Chattanooga, brothers, John Ransom, Rock Spring and Knox Ransom, Fort. Oglethorpe, granddaughter, Jennifer (Rick) Hindman, Carrolton, Ga, 3 great-grandchildren, Allison, Catherine, and William, and 4 step-grandchildren and their families. Funeral services will be 2 PM, Sunday, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Daniel Gilchrist and Rev. Dennis McNulty. Interment in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
