Paula Oliver

Paula Marion Oliver, 85, of Ringgold went home to be with the Lord Thursday March 14, 2024.

She was born in Fletcher Oklahoma on January 13, 1939, a daughter of the late, Marion and Eula May Thomason Cyrus.   Paula was an LPN serving more than 21 years at Parkridge Hospital, Chattanooga, retiring in 1995. 

She was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church where she was entertainment Co- Chairman and Card Chairman of the Sunday School Class for many years.  And was a part of a Couples prayer group. She loved being part of the Dorcas Sunday School Class and a Choir member.  Mrs. Oliver was a lady Shriner, a volunteer at the Colonnade, and past member of Beta Sigma Phi, Sonority.

Paula was preceded in death by her loving husband Charles Oliver

Survivors are her loving children Stephenney Lee ( Max ) of Chattanooga, Billy Akins ands Mark Akins of Mexico.  Seven grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services honoring the life of Paula will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel with Trev. Danny Henson officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens South.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 Sunday at Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
