Eugenia Agnes Walker Smith, 88 passed away Sunday April 30, 2006 at a local hospital after many years persevering courageously in faith through chronic lung disease. Born February 8, 1918, Jean was preceded in death by her father Dr. William H. Walker and mother Nora Keith Walker of Batesville, Arkansas. She is survived by her husband of fifty-six years M. Duane Smith, Sr. who she married at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Concord, New Hampshire, her son M. The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the many healthcare givers who became a part of the family over Jean’s long illness. Our prayers and thanks go out, especially to the clergy, staff, and communicants of St. Paul’s for the love and comfort they provided her through the years.
