Name: Emily Nunnally Date: September 10th, 1920 - December 25th, 2009 Obituary: Emily Howard Nunnally; 89 of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, December 25, 2009 at Martin Boyd Christian Home. Mrs. Nunnally was retired from the Hamilton County Nursing Home and was a member of the North Cleveland Church of God. She was proud to have obtained her pilots license. She was preceded in death by her parents, Spurgeon and Florence Howard, husband, Gladwyn R. Nunnally, and granddaughter, Jennifer Silva. She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Silva and husband Samuel, Ooltewah, TN; sons, Philip J. Nunnally and wife Nancy, Chattanooga, TN; William A. Nunnally and wife Judy, Hiddenite, NC; 9 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Kyle Moses and Tucker Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens East. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Martin Boyd Christian Home, 6845 Standifer Gap Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Martin Boyd Christian Home, members of the East Ridge Church of Christ, and Hospice of Chattanooga.
