Name: Paul Edward Overcast Date: April 5th, 1927 - February 7th, 2010 Obituary: Paul Edward Overcast, Ringgold, Ga., passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2010. Born in northwest Tennessee, he was a lifelong supporter of all things “orange.” He served in the U. S. Navy and later graduated from the College of Engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and the University of Houston with an advanced degree in Industrial Engineering. Mr. Overcast was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 50 years, Christine Love Overcast. Survivors are his two daughters, Jane (William) Salter, Wellington, Florida, Nancy (Ivan) Yanasak, Alpharetta, Georgia; and his dearest granddaughter, Nadia Karoline Yanasak. Memorial and services will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.
