Mrs. Jacobs was born in Bristol, Connecticut and had lived in Chattanooga since 1969. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and was a daughter of the late, Ernest & Alina Benson and was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Benson and a sister, Florence Landry. Survivors include three sons, John Ernest Jacobs, Lawrenceville, GA; Ron Jacobs, Chattanooga; Richard Jacobs, Hixson; two daughters, Tina Jordan, Oxford, GA; Karen Murray, Larenceville, GA; seven grandchildren, Amanda (Michael) Ledford, Ringgold; Richard Carl Jacobs, Hixson; John Jacobs, Lawrenceville, GA; Jessica (Luke) Fincher, Covington, GA; James Bubba Jordan, Oxford, GA; Heather and Hannah Murray, both of Lawrenceville, GA. Graveside services will be held Friday at 12:30 P.M. in National Cemetery with Rev. Harold McClure officiating.
