Name: Robert Douglas Baker, Sr. Date: December 9th, 1952 - February 10th, 2010 Obituary: Robert Douglas “Bob” Baker, Sr., 57 of Ooltewah, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at his residence surrounded by his family. Bob was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and graduated from Brainerd High School in 1971. He was a member of Bayside baptist Church and one who loved to travel. Bob was a supervisor with Old Dominion freight Lines. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Maizie Higginbotham Baker and one son, Robert Douglas baker, Jr. Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Susan park Baker; son, Michael park Baker, Chattanooga; daughter, Amy Baker Jackson, Chattanooga; sister, Linda Baker, Columbus, OH and one grandson, Tyler Jackson. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, February 13, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Al Baker officiating.
