Richard Lee Masters, 81, Ringgold, died Thursday, February 18, 2010, at his residence. He was a member of Calvary Memorial Baptist Church in Ringgold and was a retired electrician. Mr. Masters was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U. S. Army. He was preceded in death by a grandson, David A. Crowder.
Survivors are his wife, Charlene Masters; son, Larry (Ruth) Masters, Lewisburg, Tenn.; daughters, Sue (Doug) Matlock, Buford, Ga., Linda (Benny) McBee, Ringgold; brother, Charles r. Masters, McGhee, Arkansas; sisters, Margie Moore, McMinnville, Tenn., Alta Radford, Chattanooga, Mary Lou Knighton, Interlachen, Fla.; grandchildren, Chad Parrish and Melissa Masters McHugh, both of Ringgold; great-grandchildren, D. J. Crowder, Courtney Parrish, Haley McHugh, and Brooke McHugh, all of Ringgold.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Eric Greeson officiating. Interment in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
