She was formerly of Dearborn, Michigan, before moving here in 1986. Mrs. Newman was retired from Detroit-Toledo-Ironton Railroad. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Newman. Survivors include brother, Glenn Yarbrough, Phoenix, Arizona; nieces, Jean Goodrich, Glenda Prescott, several other nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South with Rev. Lamar Dietz officiating.
