Reeves, 91, a native of Rising Fawn, GA and longtime resident of Chattanooga died Wednesday, June 30 at his home in Bowling Green, KY. He and his wife Dot, retired to Bowling Green in 2000 to live near their daughter, Linda and family. Asa was born July 20, 1918 to Jim and Stella Forester Reeves. He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, his parents, brother, Alvin Reeves and granddaughter, Carri Coppinger. Survivors are his daughter, Linda Coppinger and husband Warner; grandson, Chuck Coppinger and his wife, Kelly ; great granddaughter, Carrington Shay Coppinger all of Bowling Green, KY; sister, Lillian Reeves Hibbs; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 7 at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel with his son-in-law officiating. A private interment will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
