Name: Gwendola Ann Cushen Date: June 28th, 1943 - July 14th, 2010 Obituary: Mrs. Gwendola “Gwen” Cushen, 67, died on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at her home. She had lived in the area for many years and was a member of Old Fort Baptist Church. She was a very loving and caring mother. Mrs. Cushen was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Cushen. She is survived by her sons Stan (Becky) Cushen, Cypress, Texas; Craig Cushen, Rossville; two grandchildren, Spencer and Katie Cushen, Cypress, Texas, brothers, Durell Traylor, Rossville, Jimmy Traylor, Terry Traylor; sister, Wynell Heaton, all of Rainsville, Alabama and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Friday, July 16, 2010 in the Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor W. L. Galloway officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens South. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 PM Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, 3239 Battlefield Parkway, Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.
