Born January 15, 1916 on Long Island, New York, She was the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. John P. O’Leary, and sister to the late John P. O’Leary, Jr., Lee, known affectionately as “Mosey”, was devoted to her faith and family. Anyone who knew Lee, knew of her kindness, compassion for others and genuine love of animals. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Earle Remington Evans. She is survived by three daughters, Pamela Evans Paulsen, (Rik), Diane Evans Gratz, (George) and Ty Evans Cooper, (Jim), five grandchildren, Kimberly P. Boop, (Dan), Keith B. Paulsen, James R. Hedges, IV, Conlee Cooper Butler,(Bo George Watson) and Robert Remington Cooper, two great grandchildren, Charles Evans Hedges and Remington Malone Hedges. There will be a private memorial service, In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Mount Catholic Church or to the Humane Society of Chattanooga.
