A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Mr. Griggs was a veteran of the Army serving in Vietnam. He held memberships at Mountain City Masonic Lodge #549, VFW Post 1289 and American Legion Post 95. He is survived by his sons, Mark and Jeffrey Griggs; Brother, James (Jimmy) Griggs, 4 grandchildren.
